Animated Optimism 2006
Project description
This work is a playful exploration of a cultural image not yet formed. Animated Optimism challenges the viewer to question the possible implications of an overly mechanised and structurally saturated global landscape, whilst also exploring the development of human culture.
This image was drawn by a friend of mine - David Berger - when he was 5 years old. Notice what has made it into frame; a couple (man and woman), a house, garden, the natural environment (clouds and birds) and a helicopter and airplane.
