Fragmentations of Experience 2006
Project description
Fragmentations of Experience was my first projection work that came off the wall and utilised 3D space to recreate an actual environment. This work explores the video medium’s role in the break down of public and private boundaries and the literal fragmentation of experience that real time screen based mediums cause. The work also provokes the viewer to question the ways in which they perceive themselves and why the decision is made to keep certain human realities taboo or private.
