Raw Elements, a retail Interior for Neo Luxury Brand FEIT. Located at 2 Prince Street, NoLita, New York City.

Raw Elements of Construction was created to house FEIT’s New York flagship. The 580 square foot flagship was largely built from birch plywood and mirror that was shorn into clean angles and planes.

Illuminated by a south-east orientation, the sun slips over this plywood and mirror to filter through a skeleton of two-by-four walls in a filigreed geometry. Blending the presence of inside and out, mirrors catch the reflections of occupants and on-lookers alike.

In Raw Elements, the language of a raw construction site and a polished exhibition space co-mingle. Custom vitrines built onsite by two master carpenters, are perfectly positioned for interplay with the morning light.

Inside, vertically mounted fluorescent fixtures distinguish displays from service areas. For passers-by, this lighting makes them aware of the pace at which they cross the façade.
